Habitat and Geographic Distribution

In the eastern Mediterranean regions, the Gundelia plant grows wild in Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Anatolia, and is cultivated in some countries as a type of vegetable.

Botanical description
